The Maeland mansion has been quiet for years, too quiet. A young boy named Calvin used to run and play like any other boy, but now his outgoing and rebellious behavior has stopped, why? That is what Calvin's cousin Harriet wants to know. Back from her international trips with her mother, Harriet goes to stay with her strange uncle at his strange mansion, among his strange inventions. But what Harriet looks forward to is seeing Calvin for the first time in years. Her excitement drops when she learns that the brother she never had has become his psychotic father's new experiment.
