"Get this through your thick skull Alexander, you're not alone." Sam Alexander's father told him tales of his adventures in space along with the rest of the Nova Corps. The aliens they battled, the warriors they allied with and Sam's favorite story, his father's adventures with the Guardians of the Galaxy. But, as Sam grew, he began to see his father for what he really was, a drunk. His younger sister is told the same tales he had been told as a child, and Sam just can't understand how his mother can encourage it. Sam was up for an adventure of a lifetime, only, he didn't know it yet. As troubles rise from below Sam joins forces with the most unlikiest of people, a weird green lady, a talking raccoon, and his weirdo classmate, Y/n L/n.
