Prologue

Clarisse Montgomery, Rissey for short, lived a simple life. All she needed was provided for her by her loving adoptive parents. An unfortunate car accident, however, left her orphaned once again at 17. "Live your dream and find her," were her mom's last words." 2 years later, she's in college and on her way to becoming a lawyer. She's not only drowning in school work but in student loans as well. To top all that, she can't shake the words out of her head - "find her." Then she meets the infamous Ian Radke, a playboy with a past he has been trying to escape. A desperate ruse brings them together and becomes Rissey's ticket to the past.
