They say that fear is an illusion. But it isn’t, is it? It’s an actual emotional state our body goes through. The illusion is what’s feared. All we need to stop the illusion is a moment of clarity. A moment, a word from someone we love. But what if that someone isn’t there? What if they don’t love us? Later I learnt that people only accept the love they think they deserve. If only I’d known that in the beginning.
