Chapter One

Kourté LaRae has been the face of Bella Donna for nearly ten years. She is a model designers beg to wear their clothes, fashion houses compete to have her walk their stage and women rush to copy her style. On her twenty ninth birthday, she gets an email from her label which says they're dropping her as the Bella Donna woman for a younger, newer face. To add insult to injury, she has been asked to kindly spend time with the new girl and show her the ropes so it can be a smooth transition. Outraged, Kourté decides to not just show the woman the rope but to also hang her with it. She's determined not to take this lying down; after all, she didn't get a reputation as one of the biggest bitches in the business by playing nice. But then, something about the doe eyed Marina Kristoff just about destroys her ability to bite.
