The adventures of the Order of the Stone are behind them. Jesse has taken on an apprentice, Sam, in order to train the next Order of the Stone. But while Sam is happy to learn about battle and building, nothing can prepare her for the Temple of the Wand. In the end it is Sam alone who must harness the power of the Builder's Wand and help the others escape . . . before they're drained of essence and turned to stone.
