Chapter 1- Background

Kalanie had to leave the powerful Evergreen Pack when she was seven, due to her parents dying in a car crash. She went to live with her aunt and uncle, leaving behind her best friend Jace. At her uncle's house she was seriously abused. Later her aunt and uncle get killed, sending Kalanie to live with Jace, back at her old pack. What will happen?
