Cassandra Grey was never one of the privileged ones. She grew up under the care of her parents, her mother was an engineer while her father was the head weapons director in the Guard. She was taught everything they knew, for fear of what would happen to them. The light of her childhood was her neighbours, the Blakes. She was one of the only ones to know about the girl who lived under the floor. Now she has to survive both the toxicity of love and Earth.
