He was the kind of boy that the entire school worshiped. The kind of boy your friends fantasized about. The kind of boy your parents wanted you to marry. He was that golden boy everyone loved. He was captain of the soccer team and the co-captain of the baseball team. He was a straight A student.

He was my best friend.

Until high school that is.

Then he became my neighbor.

And made his way back into my life,
