"Please, just let me go!" Roxanne said as she tugged on the ropes that were tied around her wrists.

"You know what they say: 'If you love them, let the person go.' But," Xavier mused, walking around the chair she was tied to, "too bad I'm not in love with you."

He halted, turned his back towards the girl and glanced at her from his shoulder. She was looking at her lap with this look on her face that made him feel some sort of way. Xavier pitied her - but then again, he didn't care.

He looked away from Roxanne and looked straight ahead, walking towards the door.
