EMO (Childhood in My Hometown)

This is a poem about my life growing up in the small town of Emo. The poem explores popular hang out places during my childhood including the park, the century old barn on my family's farm, and the stock car races. It explores the idea of moving away from innocence and the fact that you cannot return to childhood.
