Chapter 00: I Miss You

[Book 3 in the Secret series]

“We work in the dark to serve the light.”

But I am trapped in the darkness that surrounds me.

Day by day, I am dragged in deeper into the dark.

I am afraid of what might become of me.

I find a release that is not worth it.

I am trapped in my goddamn darkness.

I am trapped in my goddamn pain.

I only wish it to stop, but memories flood my vision.

But that is not the lease of my problems.

I have people ruining my life, making me suffer.

I need to fight, keep fighting.

I fight for myself and countless others.

But what will happen once I am broken?

I am so deep in the dark; I do not even search for the light anymore.

It is not there, and I may never find that light again.
