Slavery, oppression, and racial superiority dominate Vryland, a country in the midst of an industrial revolution. The nobles rule with absolute power whilst the masses toil in squalor and misery. All rebellions against the nobles have failed.
Now, hope rests on two unlikely heroes: Lis and Andre. They come from different backgrounds and are haunted by different pasts. And yet, their paths grow intertwined as a new rebellion spreads across the lands, one headed by a revolutionary with grand visions of the future.
