Too Good To Stay Away- Prologue

Demi McDaniel is an 18 year old girl in her last year of high school. She doesn't have any friends anymore and keeps to herself, purposely not letting anyone in or close to her. She has her reasons for being the way she is and she plans on staying that way, focusing all her time on graduating and her music until high school is over and then she'll finally be able to leave the place that holds the memories that she wishes to forget, along with leaving behind her horrid home life. But when a new and young music teacher is hired in as a substitute he instantly takes an interest in Demi, slowly getting her to let her barriers down and possibly taking her heart as well.
