My name is Khadija and I am a Muslim girl. My life was normal. As average as anyone else's, until I donned the hijab. The hijab is a scarf, we Muslims put on our head to show modesty and honor a women's natural beauty. I thought I would be the same when I put on the hijab. Boy, was I wrong. This is my story of the hijab and how I came to wear it.
