Valerie Wick;aspiring journalist,greek yogurt addict, and nigh obsessive lover of cats,suddenly finds her succesful and stable life morphing into something outlandish and sinister. At one moment she's writing an exposé on the financial tactics of a local grocery chain, and at the next she's come face to face with Corbin; a demon who harnesses power from sexual contact. While Valerie struggles with Corbin's sporadic and inopportune appearances, other creatures begin hunting her; demons far more dangerous than her incubus companion.
