they are a way to express yourself
they can be short
long thin thick
and in many styles
when writing a poem I lose myself
its like how a musician losses themselves in a piece
its my "happy place"
its a distraction from the world when everything gets tough and you feel like the universe is ganging up on you
this is just a stupid poem book full of my head
im happy to share my secrets with you
keep them safe and close to you
if you pat attention you could see a poor human asking for help
