Chapter One

"I'm sorry your Majesty. It was an accident." The young male servant cried out as the King's guards picked him up and carried him away.

I watched from my place as the boy was dragged away. The male continued to blubber and wail until the grand doors closed and I could no longer hear his cries.

I turned my attention to the king with pure fear in my eyes as the next words rolled off his tongue.

"Come, its time to prove your loyalty."
