As I sleep, i see him. His long black hair haunts me when I'm awake, but when I'm asleep it seems to lure me towards home. If only I could move. Nobody believes me because surviving an attack from an incubus was impossible. Especially the one I was attacked by. We called him Trap. Nobody knows who came up with the name but I remember the dream vividly. The one person who believes me is my mom. She had kept mumbling that night and praying as if it would help... Meet Myra. She is a 16 year old girl who is about to go out on her own. It is custom in her family to leave 4 months after you turn 16 if you are female. You can't contact anyone or leave your house until 4 months after your 18th birthday. Sometimes the woman never come back. Everyone would cry and hope for better for their daughters. Most people called these customs morbid, but nobody knew why they did them. Myra has been 16 for exactly a month. She was nervous. Her mom had said she had planned to put her up for adoption when she was born but her mother had talked her out of it.
