10,000 years after Arus was attacked by Zarkon, what was thought to be the last Alteans alive were found and awoken by the would-be paladins of Voltron. However, there was a small unknown colony of Alteans living on Olkarion. They had maintained their population for the 10,000 years after Altea was destroyed.
