Raising both hands in the air as the metallic dragon flaps its wings, the head tilted sideways before make its descent upon the ground.

You try to remind yourself that you have to be brave.

The Beast landed and the ground shook upon its landing. It leaned forward, using its head to inspect you.

"I'm a friend." You were nervous.

Well, you lied to yourself and to it. You were more than nervous. The Beast was, sniffling you? That's a first. Now the nervous feeling are deteriorating.

At least it didn't bite you. Your mind commented.
