"Thanks for the coffee," He glanced at my white shirt where my name tag was pinned. "Alyssa." He smiled, his dimples showing. "I should go." I blushed slightly, hearing my name roll off his tongue. Next thing I know it he's almost out the door. "Ah, screw it." I muttered to myself before calling out, "Wait!" He turned around, his golden eyes meeting mine. "Yes, Alyssa?" Gosh, he really needed to stop saying my name like that. I approached him with a newfound confidence. "Now you know my name, it's only fair that I get to know yours." The guy smirked, he leaned his arm against the door handle. "Why not?" I stayed quiet, anticipating his next words. The smirking boy's eyes stayed amused. "My name's Parker." With that, he was gone. --- Where an adventurous yet shy boy and a reserved but ambitious girl get to know each other every Saturday afternoon.
