Laila is not your average student at North Bridge High school. She is the top student of her class and is also a friendly person. What no one knows is that their one and ultimate favorite student is closer to death than anyone ever knew. She later meets Matthew Hallawell who was once her neighbor and childhood friend. When she finds out that he has come back to her her heart takes a toll and ends up bringing her closer to death leaving her in a deadly coma.
