Chapter 1: Thief Work

Jahkal is confident in his skills as a thief having never failed the crazy heist he would pull, but now things have changed. His first failure might just end up being his last.

Or so he thinks. Instead he is pulled into a world of gruesome battles, whimsical tales, and forgotten memories. His only option is to complete a quest to find a long lost friend, or everything around him will be swallowed by darkness.

In order to survive, Jahkal must team up with two unlikely strangers. Valencia, the bodyguard that wants him dead, and Sarren, an animal-like hunter. Will they survive their journey or will they suffer at the hands of their foes?
