Prologue

Jeffrey Woods was just a normal kid who had a weird obsession. Nothing to be worried about, right? Totally. Everything's fine until the local bullies take a liking to Jeff in high school. As the bullies get more aggressive, Jeff starts responding in the same manner. But what happens when they push too far? Is that what it takes to send Jeff over the edge he'd been standing at? Or will his older brother Liu save him before it's too late? Will Jeff win the heart of Jane, a quiet girl who lives next door, or will she hate him for eternity? Will Jeff ever forgive himself for the painted smile he's thrown on all his life?
