To be perfectly clear, this is a one hundred and something old love story that was never going to be simple, and it all started - on possibly the most miserable day of Charles Johnson-Frost's life, little did he know, that that day, his whole life were to be turned upside down by a single fallen white canvas shoe with a single strap, a narrow toe, and a low curved Louis heel, the type of shoe that every stylish young woman was wearing in the summer of 1915.
