Authors Note

"You don't think I love you?" He asked with tears brimming his eyes.

I swallowed hard, shaking my head.

"Raven, I asked you to marry me,"

"I know I just--"

"You can't get over him, can you?"

I never saw so much pain in his eyes before. I too wanted to cry but I swallowed it down, I was better than this. I was a lot better than this. Why was I still with him? Why was I still with the bad man? I shook my head, grabbed my helmet and slipped on my gloves.

"I'll see you later, Motor Head," I whispered and drove off up the hill and out of his life forever.
