Synopsis: Charlotte 'Lottie' Reyes wanted to quit on life. No, she doesn't want to jump off a bridge--the thought never crossed her mind--but rather, she wanted to escape from her boring routine and just be whisked away into some fantasy world like the worlds in those role-playing games she played or like the overly used spirited-away plotlines on countless animes she watched. She could be an adventurer, a warrior princess or a sorceress that throws fireballs at her enemies. She won't even mind being a lowly monster if it meant freeing herself from the monotonous life of a corporate slave. But of course, try as she wish, real life was no fantasy. Real life was depressing, real life was cruel, real life was exhausting and full of rules and pointless chores. Real life was no place to live, only a place to exists. To put it simply, real life was boring. Or was it? Lottie's perspective of her life might be bleak and dull but all these changed when she got herself into an accident and got a head concussion. When she woke up in the hospital, she found out something was definitely wrong with her. First, she couldn't understand or speak her native Visayan language. Second, she could only communicate in English. Third, and perhaps the most bizarre change, she could now see a green health-bar, like the ones in her games, on the right corner of her vision. Wait, a health-bar? Her concussion must be worse than she thought but then something else happened. A message dialog floated in front of her eyes that said, 'Arcade Mode Enabled. Proceed?".
