Prologue

A beacon of civilisation shines brightly on an island chain, surrounded by forces that would wipe away the last of humanity. Avaria stands against The Manifested, twisted beasts that would see humanity dead. The colonies are under siege, the military must hold or the population will slowly starve.
Under the watch of Commander Lithia, a fresh class of recruits seeks to join the rangers, a specialist unit tasked with scouting the continental wastes and giving advanced warning to the colonies.
