Author's Note {please read this first}

After a bad breakup, Peyton decides she needs a fresh start and moves to Beacon Hills, where she lives with her mother's best friend and his son. Before long, she's beginning to forget about her heartbreak, and has made friends with a group of amazing people. Her life is soon better than it's been in a long time, but that's when things start happening in town that no one can explain, and the people she calls her friends begin acting suspicious.

What exactly is going on in Beacon Hills? Will Peyton ever find out? One thing is for sure: everyone has to face their own fears, and not everyone will survive them.
