Life After the Flames

When Callissa's small country is attacked by flames and guns, she runs for her life. She isn't only running for her life, she is running for the hope of her people as well. For Callissa is Queen Callissa Esmerelda Fiona Decan. The Decan family has ruled her country for centuries, but when an unmarried princess ascends to the throne some people are in an uproar, although there are no laws against her rule. She escapes to America, where she plans to hide herself until it is safe to return to her country and claim her seat on the throne. After all, how hard could it be for an eighteen year old queen to fit in in smalltown USA?
