Life is indeed a mystery for Maya Smith. After a wonderful summer in New York she returns home. Having only one more week for her summer she wants to make it the best before school starts. But her brother store is apparently on the radar of some maniac. Having that on her plate she also got this stalker at school who is driving her insane. She has her best friend Shay though so maybe she'll get through it all, but Shay goes missing. Is it the guy behind the robberies at her brother shop or is it her stalker? And who is Jared Monroe and why can't she get him off her mind? And what can a boy with warm brown eyes have in his past that's so bad that he's keeping people at bay?
