Description
Wendigo - a mythical creature appearing in the mythology of the Algonquian people. It is a malevolent cannibalistic spirit into which humans could transform, or which could possess humans. --- H1N12, or M-Pathogen, was released from a controlled laboratory environment February of 2013. Over a period of two months select cases of the virus began to appear in the general population throughout North America. A health advisory was released to the public soon after. This advisory indicated the stages of the virus, the lethal and contagious nature of those infected and instructions on how to dispose of the infection. Fear spread. Panic and suspicion high as borders closed and society began to collapse. Four years have passed. North America is not the same and with each day hope dwindles, the landscape littered with what the people call ‘wendigos’. There is no known cure. Theories prior to collapse suggest a cure could be developed from a pure, uncontaminated strain of the M-Pathogen.
