Beth was the loner, until she met Ty. He became her friend, not caring what his friends thought of him. She was happy with this. She had her one friend, that's all she needed. Until, her old best friend that moved away in sixth grade comes back, with her three year older brother, Alex, that Beth always liked. Except he's different than what she expected. He went through something. He covers up his pain with getting drunk and sleeping around every night. He doesn't have the light in his eyes like he used to. When Ty abandons her for a new girl, she makes it her mission to help Alex sober up and get better. But is he just a replacement for Ty?
