All her life, Lumina had been told that the rare storytelling magic she wields is nothing but useless and unimportant - a mere tool for entertainment, for passing time. But to the other children in the orphanage, it brings them joy and happiness, and more importantly - it brings hope. When Lumina leaves the orphanage, she receives a strange letter from a mysterious man said to be written by her mother before she passed. It tells her to go to Auroria - the City of Light, and that's where her adventure begins. Along the road, she will encounter many adversaries. She will doubt herself, and the magic she owns. No one told her that her journey will be easy, nor did she expect anyone to tell her.
