Seconds became minutes.Minutes became hours.Hours became days.Days became months.Months became years and years became what was left of time. Tapp...tapppp...tappppp.tappppp.The footsteps became louder causing me to steady myself as it came to a stop.I bent down to check for any signs of movement from the little space created for my mat to fit in but there was none.I breathed out a sigh of exasperation as anxiety began to feed on me,maybe he had missed his flight..or maybe........The sound came-a curt but loud knock.I reached for the handle of the wooden door and jerked it open,standing infront of me was Mathew,his eyes were steadily on me,watching my every movement. "He is here."He said and began to walk,expecting me to follow as he lead the way either to my destiny or redemption.
