Chapter One

Maddie Johnson is a 12 year old girl who has leukemia. She's tired of holding on to the fantasy that she will get better. The will to live slowly fades from her heart until she's holding on to an invisible rope by only a thread. As her life fades away, her family gives her strength to hold on, until that isn't enough. On the verge of giving up, she meets a person who is worth living for, but is it too late to live?
