Lilypaw never wanted anything more than to be a medicine cat and heal her clan. But in a fateful encounter with her ancestors, she is told her destiny is to be a mother. Confused with this message, she seeks out her closest friend from when she was still in the nursery.

Oakpaw never wanted anything more than to be a warrior, to fight and kill IceClan cats for the pride of his clan. But mixed destinies are making it hard for him to stay sane. What will happen, when Oakpaw loses everything he has wanted to fight for?
