Chapter 1

Rachel Reddings is a high school student of Red Ringers High. On a historical trip to the old city of Hong Kong during the 100 year fire festival, Rae visits one of the oldest Chinese military bases that's still operational. After a horrifying confrontation with her brother, she runs off into the building, where when hiding in a storage closet, she discovers plans that would wipe out the already fragile country of California.

Fueled by undying desire to prove everyone wrong, Rachel tasks herself with stopping the whole thing, and after landing herself and three others in jail, she just might kill herself in the process.
