Description
Selene Perez grew up around men who were controlling and overwhelming. Abused by her ex-boyfriend and mentally abused by her father, she gave up hope on all men. She didn't think they were worth a grain of salt and she was all but too happy to keep them out of her life. Despite being a bartender at Joe's Bar and struggling to come up with the means to move out of the ghetto, she manages to capture the attention of a dangerous and appealing man, who holds a lot of mystery. She tried to stay away from him, all but too aware of the danger that he is to her senses and all that she stands for. With her past trying to catch up with her and a sexy, arrogant, dominating man that takes over her senses and brings more suspense and danger to her life than she ever imagined was possible, she doesn't know what to do.
