Signal Mountain Boarding School is not your typical boarding school. No, SMBS is a school you get tossed into by your parents when you've got something to be depressed about. It's a rehab and a school in one. Every student enrolled has some type of story, most of them more depressing than the last. Jenny Scott has spent the last year at this school, and now, at the start of her senior year, she's expecting a normal year. The bullying, the fights...she doesn't expect anything to be different. And nothing is, until she's riding the horses the school bought to calm the students, and her horse goes crazy and takes off into the woods after the teacher walks off to take a student with a bloody nose to the nurses office. Pinhead asshole Ian Grant comes after her. After one look into her eyes, he was hooked. He wants her. Jenny, however, wants nothing to do with him, because let's face it. He's a jerk.
