And then I saw him

It was there when I first saw his face that I knew we were going to be so much more than acquaintances. Something about him just drew me in. I don't know if it was his blue eyes that could stare straight into your soul or just his general manner of being. He just pulled me in. It felt like my life was just beginning when he entered it. I can't begin to explain it. I don't truly know how I functioned before him. He is my everything. Nothing else makes sense without him. The way he caresses my face when I'm sad. The way he laughs at even the stupidest jokes simply because he loves to laugh and no one can resist giggling right along with him. Maybe it's the way he holds me close at night like I'm his most valued treasure. Or maybe its when he presses the lightest of kisses to my awaiting lips as he gazes into my eyes lost in love. So many reasons to love him. How can I ever survive without him?
