1. Prologue

Duncan is an Irish vampire and he's depressed.

A lonely and purposeless life is slowly leading him to the worst fate of a vampire: The Separation, or the decision of living a eternal and petrified life, locked in himself.

Then, he decides to his life as a vampire below the equator line, in the city of são Paulo in Brazil, pretending to be a human and enjoying the human respective of the beautiful urgency that imminent death brings.

What Duncan didn't expect is that his new life would bring him much more than he would even imagined.
