Vera's physical appearance varies upon people. What most people see is what they desire, not who she is. For that reason, Vera covers herself up. She avoids people for all they do is fall in love with her as soon as they see her beauty - not her personality. All her life, she has wanted was someone who loves her for who she is as an individual. There are only a few people who see her for who she is. Someone wanted to curse her this way.
