Our world, obliterated three millennia before, had once bright, and colorful trees which turned to ash. Deep, blue oceans, dried up, and became barren waste lands. Cities crumbled within seconds. Few managed to survive, but those both lucky and wealthy enough, had found shelter. They hardly survived for three centuries, before fights broke out, and decreased humanities population further. Humans regrouped here and there, and when they did, they were rounded up by soldiers, as well their nurses, and sent off to either group. Humanity rose from the ashes, and for over another millennia, they survived, and could finally coexist with each other. Hope was short lived though, for a new threat arose, and claimed the lives of millions. This new threat, were stronger, faster, and much more intelligent. They were led by a man, who had no name, or at least, no one knew it. He was a cruel and vicious man, who slaughtered all who opposed him. His army rose much quicker than any human army ever could. Word spread throughout, of a man with ghost blue eyes, and hair of fire. Children went missing. Elders, murdered in their sleep. For hundreds of years, humanity fought this enemy, and for hundreds of years, humanity lost. There is a new hope now, a weapon, they say. A weapon that he keeps locked away. A weapon so precious, and so valuable, if it fell into the wrong hands, his empire would crumble to dust. For decades humanity searched for this weapon, yet they discovered nothing. It appeared luck was on humanities side though, for instead of humanity finding the weapon, the weapon, found humanity.
