I will be chronicling my own version of Zombies, Run. My Runner 5 ran away from Mullins Base in search for a safe refuge from the people who know her secret. She snuck onto the Supply Run cargo plane that's supposed to go to Abel Township. The plane gets blasted out of the sky and Alex Carter, you know her as the heroic Runner 5, has to try to survive in this new world. She meets Sam Yao and the other members of Abel and tries to keep her secret by telling little white lies to them. But, as we all know, little white lies become bigger as Alex's past comes to haunt her. Will she be able to handle the consequences of running away? Or will it harm those who she begun to trust and protect around her? CAUTION: This story has themes which may not be suited for young readers. Will contain strong themes of blood, gore, zombie apocalypse general stuff, etc. etc. Read at your own risk. This is as I'm going through the runs. I wanted to put the stakes a bit higher for Runner 5. Hope you enjoy my version of the story. Don't know if you consider this an AU (Alternate Universe) story or not.
