Prologue: Legacy

Popular, good-looking and full of youthful fire, thirteen year old Cameron Cabello has the world at the tips of his fingers. Determined to earn the respect and admiration of his family and friends, he begins to tackle teenagehood in his own way, aiming to follow in the footsteps of his beloved older brother.

The trajectory of his life changes forever when disaster strikes, and Cam realizes that there is no longer any trace of the smiley four year old he once was. He now must lean on a neverending source of wisdom to put that past away, face the future, and prove to both himself and his protective parents that the colour of his eyes will never be enough to label the nature of his heart.
