"Trapped"

Winged Amazon Nike has one job--she has to return the spoiled runaway princess Syna to her home in Crete. Of course, it's not as easy as all that, as Nike, Syna, Nike's telepathic Pegasus Belen, Syna's mare Iantha and Nike's pet serval Saba discover during their journey; everything in Greece wants to kill them, including a million-strong plague of rats and mice that have overtaken a city they are passing through. When the misguided king orders the city sealed off, Nike and her friends find themselves trapped, surrounded by hungry rodents.
