Parker, a senior in high school, has just moved back to California after her dad passed away. She is excited for a fresh start in her school. That is until she realizes her longtime family friend Grace Lewis is her new biology teacher, and that's not the only thing she comes to realize about Grace. Kara Parker must come to terms with her feelings while balancing her relationship with her family, her best friend and most of all, herself.
