Makoto and Kagami work together in a cat cafe to put themselves through college. Everything starts to change when Kagami gets a mysterious second job. Kagami doesn't want his friend, Aomine, to find out about the job, fearing it would be the end of their friendship. But Aomine getting a girlfriend is enough to cause a large rift. Makoto is always there for his friend, even to the point where his boyfriend, Sousuke, starts to get jealous. Makoto and Kagami struggle to survive college and expectations, but Kagami's past is determined to ruin him.
